Sex Offender Faces Charges for Non-Compliance
Keith Lagasse, a registered sex offender, failed to inform police of changes in his employment and address.

Keith Lacasse, 42, of 22 Central St., Nashua, was arrested June 10 on a warrant charging him with duty to inform, a class B felony, due to his status as a Tier III registered sex offender.
Police said on March 25, 2013 Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division detectives Lacasse as being non-compliant with his registration requirements. Lacasse failed to inform the Nashua Police Department of his change of employment as he was required to do. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Lacasse’s arrest.
An ensuing investigation revealed that Lacasse had also failed to inform the Nashua Police Department of several online identifiers, changes in his address, changes of employment and providing false information on his sex offender registration form. He will subsequently be charged with eight additional counts of Duty to Inform, Class B Felony. He will also be charged with Duty to Report, Class B Felony for failing to complete his quarterly sex offender registration.

A Class B Felony is punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment in State Prison, exclusive of fines for each count. Lacasse is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $25,000 cash or surety bail, pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on June 11th, 2013.
