Sunken Vehicle Pulled from Merrimack River
After a few weeks of considering the best way to pluck this car from the river, DES has fished a car from the river.

A car found submerged in the Merrimack River a few weeks ago was recovered this morning by the Department of Environmental Services.
Dave Leathers, with the DES Spill Response and Complaint Division, said it was apparent after the initial investigation that the car had been there for "quite a while."
"It's not releasing any fluids it was a pretty stable situation, and given the logistics involved, we had to come up with a plan," Leathers said.
