On behalf of all of us at the Nashua School District, I am writing to extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Shea Patno's family and friends, and his classmates and teachers at Nashua High School South. Shea was a member of the Class of 2023 at South, and a member of the football team.
Shea will be missed. As you may be aware, he tragically drowned in a swimming accident in Dunstable, Massachusetts over the weekend.
We join Principal Keith Richard and his staff in supporting and comforting those affected during this very difficult time. To help ease the sadness, Mr. Richard announced earlier today that South has arranged for grief counseling.
We are here for our students because we know so many are feeling this great loss. Please contact Mr. Richard or Ms. Coutu, Director of Guidance, and they will be sure you are connected to the supports you may need, whether today, tomorrow or in the days and weeks ahead.
Again, it is with heavy hearts that we share with you this very sad news. Please take care.
Jahmal Mosley, Superintendent of Schools
