Up to $25,000 Grant Available for Bike/Pedestrian Program

Grant opportunity available to help Nashua go a little greener with pedestrian/bike paths.

2013 New Hampshire Bicycle and Pedestrian Grant Program has announced it's now accepting applications for a grant between $5,000 and $25,000 to support the "furthering of technical assistance, design, engineering and construction for bicycling and pedestrian modes of transportation in the State of New Hampshire."

This grant is made possible by an anonymous donor and administered by a Grant Program Committee comprised of individuals with intimate knowledge, experience, and involvement, with bicycle, pedestrian, health and safety projects. New Hampshire non-profits and local and regional governmental entities with already planned or existing bicycle and pedestrian transportation projects are eligible to apply.

October 9, 2013 by 5:00 p.m. – deadline for submitting Grant Request Letter

October 25, 2013 – finalists notified and invited to complete a full Grant Application

November 15, 2013 by 5:00 p.m. – deadline for full grant applications

December 17, 2013 – notification of awards to grant recipients
