Woman Charged for Stealing Snowboarding Equipment

Ashleigh Starr is a suspect in an April residential burglary.

Ashleigh Starr, 27, of 18 Middle Dunstable Road, Nashua, was arrested June 3 charged with receiving stolen property, a class B felony, in connection with an April residential theft.

Police said on April 4 Nashua Police responded to a local residence for the report of a theft. Following an investigation, Starr was identified as a suspect, and an arrest warrant was issued, charging Starr with Receiving Stolen Property, class B felony.

It is alleged Starr stole various items including snowboarding equipment, property valued in excess of $1,000, elevating the theft to a felony.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Starr is held at the Nashua Police Department on $5,000 cash or surety bail pending her arraignment at 9th Circuit Court - Nashua District Division on June 4, 2013.
