3 UNH Students Badly Burned

WMUR reports that three female students suffered third-degree burns on their feet after a hot water pipe burst in their dormitory over the weekend.

Three University of New Hampshire students who were badly burned when a boiler pipe burst inside their dormitory on Saturday are now being treated in Boston hospitals, according to WMUR.

WMUR reported the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon and more than 100 students were evacuated from Hunter Hall. Durham Fire Chief Corey Landry also told WMUR the hot water and steam from the boiler pipe damage four rooms and a small section of the first floor hallway.
