She is scheduled to meet with members of the media with Brig. Gen. Carol Protzmann, commander of the New Hampshire Air National Guard, to talk about why Pease is the right place for some of the new tankers. A decision on which two bases will receive some of the new tankers will be made on May 1.
At 9:50 a.m., U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, is scheduled to talk with members of the media at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine about the importance of promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) career paths for women.
