Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County Unveils New Website

The Center's website serves as a resource and a support system for child abuse victims, their families, and the greater community.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County recently launched their new website at cacnh.org. Since 2000, according to a press statement, the Center has collaborated with public, private and community partners to provide a safe environment for children victim to abuse or neglect across Rockingham County. The Center’s website serves as a resource and a support system for child abuse victims, their families, and the greater community.

Information there includes: how to get help and report abuse cases, the signs of sexual abuse among children three to eighteen years of age, tips for parents to help and talk to their child following an abuse incident, and the interview process at the Child Advocacy Center. It also features the Center’s new logo, a child’s hand within the hand of an adult, and their tagline: Turning Hurt Into Hope.

The site also displays upcoming events within the community to help raise awareness and funds for the Center. One of these events is their annual Fore Kids Golf Classic, a golf tournament on June 5, 2017, at the Golf Club of New England. Money raised for the event helps support the Center directly, and includes a Longest Drive Contest, Closest to the Pin Contest, breakfast and lunch, an awards ceremony, and others. Register for the Golf Classic online.
