City Council to Consider $3M Bond for Portsmouth Middle School Project
Red Sox take on the Yankees on opening day; Restaurant Week to begin later this week; mild, partly sunny day in the forecast.
1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day with a chance of rain in the morning with a high temperature of 58 degrees. On Monday night, it will be mostly clear with a low temperature of 24 degrees.
2. City Council meeting: The Portsmouth City Council is scheduled to meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. The agenda can be viewed on the city's website.
3. Restaurant week: Restaurant Week Portsmouth and the Seacoast is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 4 through April 13.

4. City budget unveiled: City Manager John Bohenko presented his proposed Fiscal Year 2014 budget on Friday at City Hall that is more than $93.2 million, which is up 2.94 percent over this year.
5. Opening day: Opening day for the 2013 Major League Baseball season is today and the Boston Red Sox are scheduled to take on the New York Yankees in the Bronx at 1:05 p.m. The game will be televised on NESN.
