City Police Probe iPad Theft
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Sept. 23 through Monday, Sept. 24.
Sunday:
- At 12:20 p.m., police reported a stolen license plate that was taken from a vehicle on Islington Street.
- At 1:19 p.m., police reported a theft of a political sign on Nathaniel Drive.
- At 3:58 p.m., police reported an iPad theft from a Woodbury Avenue story that was valued at nearly $530.
- At 10:07 p.m., police reported the theft of a Smuttynose and Poco's Bow Street Cantina sign on Bow Street.

- At 12:37 a.m., police arrested a Berwick, Maine woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she was detained by Berwick Police. Brittani J. Hope, 22, of 10 Allen St., Apt. B in Berwick, Maine was wanted for theft; all other.
- At 7:38 a.m., police reported a burglary at a Borthwick Avenue business of a laptop, network card and cables valued at $1,000.
- At 7:50 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Winsor Road. Thomas England, 21, of 8 Winsor Road in Portsmouth was wanted on two bench warrants.
