City to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day All Weekend

City will have plenty of live music, theatre and the spirit of the Emerald Isle.

As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.

1. See Southside Johnny and the Jukes: The Music Hall will present Southside Johnny and the Jukes in concert this Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets are $45 and $36 each.

2. Irish music at Ri Ra: Oran Moran, the Black Agnus Band and Radio Go Feat Hallie Day will perform lots of great Irish music all day and all night as part of Ri Ra's St. Patrick's Day Weekend celebration. There will be plenty of great Irish fare and discounted pints of Guinness.

3. Summer camp expo: "Parenting New Hampshire" magazine will host a Summer Camp and Expo program on Saturday at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

4. See "A Chorus Line" at The Rep: The musical "A Chorus Line" will continue its run at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre this weekend.

5. The Connection with Muck and the Mires: The Press Room's St. Patrick's Day show will feature the band, The Connection with Muck and the Mires on Sunday at 9 p.m. Tickets are $4 and $5.
