City to Hold Wayfinding Signs Meeting
Portsmouth residents can learn more about where and how city officials want to deploy the new signs.

A public meeting to provide an update on the City’s Wayfinding System planning will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers at Portsmouth City Hall.
This meeting is a follow-up to the introductory meeting held in February. The consultant firm, Merje, along with members of the City’s Planning Department will be presenting preliminary draft design concepts for the wayfinding system for public review and commentary.
It is anticipated that the project be completed by early summer 2013. The City will develop a dependable and standardized wayfinding plan that identifies appropriate locations, messaging and uniformed signs. The public is welcome and encouraged to come and learn more. For more information, please contact Juliet Walker, Transportation Planner, City of Portsmouth.
