Woman Charged with Crack Sales in Public Housing
Portsmouth Police say Susan Becker was arrested for two felony drug charges last week.

A Portsmouth woman who resides in one of the city's public housing units has been charged with selling crack cocaine.
Portsmouth Police Lt. Michael Maloney of the detectives division said that Susan Becker, 42, of 140 Court St., Apt. 212 in the Feaster Apartments was arrested on March 15 and charged with two felony counts of sale of a controlled drug.
Maloney said Becker was arrested following an investigation into illicit drug sales that were happening inside and around the Portsmouth Housing Authority properties.

Becker's bail set at $1,000 cash and $5,000 personal recognizance, according to Maloney. Becker was subsequently released after she posted the $1,000 cash bail. Maloney said a probable cause hearing for Becker has not been scheduled yet in Portsmouth Circuit Court.
He said the Portsmouth Police Department continues to work closely and in cooperation with the Portsmouth Housing Authority to arrest those responsible for crimes committed on PHA property, specifically drug offenses.
