City Woman Indicted in Heroin Death

Jennifer Landry, 41, of Portsmouth could allegedly sold heroin to another city woman who later died of a drug overdose.

A Portsmouth woman who police say heroin to another city woman who later died of a drug overdose has been indicted by a Rockingham County Grand Jury, according to the Union Leader.

The Union Leader reported that Jennifer Landry, 41, of 309 Oriental Gardens was indicted Friday for a felony of sale of a controlled drug - death resulting. The newspaper reported that Landry could face up to life in prison, if convicted at trial. She continues to be held at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood on $50,000 cash bail.

and charged by Portsmouth Police with selling $45 worth of heroin to Svetlana Filippenko who later died of a drug overdose in the city on Nov. 21.
