Cottage Street Project Will Cause Some Traffic Delays
City Public Works Department will begin project on Monday, Oct. 1.

Cottage Street will be limited to one-way traffic during weekday work hours beginning next Monday (Oct. 1) and continuing until the end of the October while crews construct drainage, curbing and a new sidewalk to link the neighborhood to the rest of the city.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays as the work also may require the necessity to periodically close Cottage Street, as well. There also will be construction activity along a portion of Coakley Road for this project.
The sidewalk will be constructed along the north side of Cottage from Woodbury Avenue, across the bypass and onto Coakley Road. Work will be taking place through the entire month of October.
