Council to Take on EPA Wastewater Treatment Rules

Council to review Peirce Island Wastewater Treatment plant: The City Council will hold a work session about the Peirce Island Wastewater Treatment plant and how it should proceed to meet new federal Environmental Protection Agency standards. The work session begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall and the agenda can be viewed on the city's website.

5. Sarah Mildred Long Bridge closed: According to New Hampshire Department of Transportation officials, the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge will remain closed for another three weeks after it sustained structural damage from a tanker that crashed into it on Monday.
