Former Attorney General Michael Delaney joins McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association.

Former New Hampshire Attorney General Michael Delaney has joined a prestigious law firm that has offices in Manchester, Portsmouth and Concord.

According to the website of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association, Delaney is joining the firm as a director in the litigation practice group.

"Mike joining us and our litigation group is really exciting, Mike will be able to apply his extensive litigation and government experience to regulatory and compliance matters for us," said Dick Samuels, McLane's Managing Partner, in a prepared statement.

Delaney served for the past four years as New Hampshire Attorney General, having been unanimously confirmed by the Executive Council. Prior to his government experience, Delaney worked for five years in private practice, focusing on complex business litigation cases.

Delaney has served on the New Hampshire Bar Association's Ethics Committee, the New Hampshire Supreme Court's Committee on Character and Fitness and on the Board of Directors of the Council of State Government's Justice Center, according to the law firm's website.

In 2012, Delaney received a Hands of Hope leadership award from the Granite State Children's Alliance, and earlier this year, he received the Honorable William D. Paine II Award from the Governor's Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence. For the past four years, Delaney has served on the Board of Directors of The Webster House, a private, non-profit home for children in Manchester. He has coached softball and baseball in Manchester for the past seven years.

On joining McLane, Delaney said, "Throughout my career, I have seen first-hand McLane's depth and expertise in handling complex legal situations. I am most pleased to join such a strong team of attorneys that litigate matters not only in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, but also nationally."

A member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations, Delaney will serve McLane's clients from the Manchester, New Hampshire and Woburn, Massachusetts offices.

Delaney is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, and he received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Originally from Massachusetts' north shore, he now resides in Manchester with his wife and three children.
