Dog Licensing Deadline is Today

City Technical Advisory Committee meeting at City Hall; Music Hall to screen "A Place at the Table" on Tuesday night; another sunny, mild day in the forecast.

1. Today's weather: Today will be sunny with a high temperature near 64 degrees. On Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear with a low temperature around 40 degrees.

2. Dog license deadline: City dog owners have until Tuesday, April 30 to license their pooches. The 2013 dog licensing fees are: $10 for unaltered male or female dogs, $7.50 for spayed or neutered dogs, and $7.50 for puppies 3- to 7 months. For further information, contact 610-7245.

3. TAC meeting: The Portsmouth Technical Advisory Committee will meet at City Hall on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The agenda can be viewed on the city's website.

4. Music Hall to take on hunger: The Music Hall will screen the documentary, "A Place at the Table," on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to highlight the national issue of hunger in conjunction with Share Our Strength, Seacoast Eat Local and End 68 Hours of Hunger.

5. Sarah Long Bridge closed: According to New Hampshire Department of Transportation officials, the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge will be closed to motor vehicle traffic until May 25 because of the extensive repairs that need to be done.
