Dover Man Nabbed on Drug Charges

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Aug. 18 through Monday, Aug. 19.

Sunday:

  • At 10:07 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman on Borthwick Avenue who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Morgan McAllister, 21, of 600 Lafayette Road was wanted on a bench warrant.
  • At 6:23 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Durgin Lane after the caller said her vehicle's front tire was slashed.
  • At 7:22 p.m., police reported a theft on Durgin Lane after a taxi cab driver said he had a female customer who would not pay her fare.
Monday:
  • At 11 a.m., police arrested a Dover man on South and Wibird streets who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Thomas Higgins, 53, of 93 Old Dover Road, Apt. A was wanted for possession of controlled narcotic drugs.
  • At 2:39 p.m., police investigated a liquor offenses complaint on State Street after the caller said she saw some homeless men drinking alcohol in a public park.
  • At 4:58 p.m., police arrested a Newmarket man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on the Spaulding Turnpike northbound. Christian S. Nash, 39, of 13 Stanton Drive, Apt. I, was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by Seabrook Police.
  • At 10:05 p.m., police reported a theft at Beechstone Apartments after the caller said his ex-girlfriend stole his PS3 gaming system and 17 of his PS3 games.
  • At 11:07 p.m., police reported a fireworks complaint on Middle and Union streets.
