Drugging, Sex Assault Suspect Targets Witness Testimony

Aaron Bonds of Dover wants to limit statements made by some of his victims at trial.

A Dover man charged with drugging three women and sexually assaulting another woman hopes to limit what his alleged victims can say when his case goes to trial, according to the Union Leader.

A Rockingham County Superior Court judge has agreed to hold a hearing on Thursday to determine if Aaron Bonds, 43, will be able to limit the women's testimony or run the risk of self-incrimination on the witness stand, according to the Union Leader.

Bonds was indicted in 2011 by a Rockingham County grand jury on 11 charges related to a July 2011 incident where police say he drugged three women and sexually assaulted one of them in a local apartment. He is currently facing three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault and dispensing a controlled drug for allegedly supplying the women with what they believed was cocaine and is scheduled to go to trial in June.
