Dudley Dudley vs. Big Oil

Dudley Dudley will be at Rye Public Library tonight, April 24, to speak on the "Defeat of Great Bay Oil Refinery Plan: 40 Years Later."

The illustrated talk is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m 

Rye Public Library and the Rye Historical Society are sponsors of the event.

Here is the library's introduction to the event:     

"Dudley Dudley of Durham will speak about her experience in defeating an oil refinery on the shores of Great Bay. This illustrated talk will demonstrate the importance of grassroots efforts to preserve our environment and way of life.  Q and A will follow the talk and refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public."
