Easter Bunny Hops into Town this Weekend

Martin England and The Reconstructed to play at the Press Room Friday night; "Barbara" to be shown at Music Hall Loft.

As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.

1. Easter Bunny hops into town: The city's annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday at Langdon Park beginning at 10:30 p.m.

2. See "Barbara": The film, "Barbara," directed by Christian Petzold, which won best director at the Berlin Film Festival, will be screened at the Music Hall Loft this weekend with shows on Friday at 7 p.m. and on Saturday at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and military members.

3. Martin England and The Reconstructed to perform: The Press Room will present Martin England and The Reconstructed on Friday night at 9. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are $5 at the door.

4. Rob Benton at Thirsty Moose: Rob Benton, who is described as the hottest rock/acoustic rock act out of Boston, will rock the Thirsty Moose Taphouse on Friday night from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

5. Nobody's Fault at Dolphin Striker: The group Nobody's Fault will play at the Dolphin Striker on Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and there is no cover.
