Ex Portsmouth School Worker Free on Bail
Union Leader reports that Kenneth Kimber is now free after a Rockingham County Superior Court judge granted him $30,000 personal recognizance bail.

UPDATED, 5 p.m.: A former Portsmouth School worker charged with trying to solicit sex from a teenage girl is now free on bail after a Rockingham County Superior Court judge granted his request for lower bail on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Union Leader.
Judge Kenneth McHugh lowered Kenneth Kimber's bail to $30,000 personal recognizance after Kimber had previously posted $10,000 cash bail when he was first arrested by Portsmouth Police in February. Kimber's case has yet to go before a Rockingham County Grand Jury.
Earlier story: A former Portsmouth School worker charged with trying to have sex with a female student and soliciting her on Facebook is now asking a Rockingham County Superior Court judge to lower his bail, according to the Union Leader.

Kenneth Kimber, 34, of Portsmouth has been held at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood since March 12 after Portsmouth Police filed additional charges against him following his arrest in February, according to the Union Leader. The newspaper also reported that the judge could make a decision regarding Kimber's request by the end of Wednesday.
Kimber has been charged with attempted felonious sexual assault, indecent exposure and certain uses of a computer prohibited. , but following the additional charges, his bail was increased to $15,000 cash or corporate surety.
