Ex-Portsmouth Schools Worker's Arraignment Pushed Back
Kenneth Kimber, 34, of Portsmouth will be arraigned on nine stalking charges on May 20 in Portsmouth Circuit Court.

UPDATED, 9:30 a.m.: The arraignment for a former Portsmouth Schools worker charged with trying to solicit sex from a 14-year-old girl in March and then arrested for nine stalking charges in April while free on bail has been pushed back.
According to Portsmouth Circuit Court officials, Kenneth Kimber, 34, of 93 Osprey Drive will be arraigned on the nine stalking charges on May 20 at 8 a.m. Kimber continues to be held on $15,000 cash bail at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood after his previous bail of $30,000 personal recognizance was revoked on April 15.

Kenneth Kimber, 34, of 93 Osprey Drive in Portsmouth is scheduled to be arraigned on the new stalking charges in Portsmouth Circuit Court at 9 a.m.
As part of Kimber's original bail conditions following his arrest in March, he was ordered to have no contact with a witness whom police said he tried to contact nine times between March 24 and April 8, according to Portsmouth Police Capt. Mike Schwartz.

by Rockingham County Superior Court Judge Kenneth McHugh on April 10 after the previous charges against him were forwarded to a Rockingham County grand jury for possible indictment. Following his arrest on April 15 on the stalking charges, Kimber's bail was later revoked by the same judge.
Kimber was arrested by Portsmouth Police on Feb. 15 for three felony counts of certain uses of a computer prohibited and five felony counts of indecent exposure. He was arrested again in March for sex solicitation for allegedly trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.
