City officials to review construction projects tonight; PHS solar project needs your help; mostly cloudy day in the forecast.

1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a mostly cloudy day with a high temperature near 49 degrees. On Monday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low around 39 degrees.

2. Pre-construction meeting: City Public Works Department officials will hold a pre-construction meeting about the Lincoln Area Contract 3B and Cass Area sewer separation projects on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Levenson Meeting Room at the Portsmouth Public Library.

3. PHS Clippers eliminated: The Portsmouth High Clippers Boys basketball team's quest for a second consecutive NHIAA Division II title ended Saturday night after they fell to Souhegan High, 69-65, in the quarterfinals.

4. PHS solar project: The Portsmouth High School Environmental Change Organization is still looking for donations for their Sell-A-Cell project by launching a donation site using the popular crowd-funding resource Indiegogo. The solar panels are scheduled to be installed in April.

5. AARP to offer free tax assistance: The AARP will offer Portsmouth area residents free 2012 income tax return preparation assistance at the Portsmouth Public Library through Sunday, April 14. The service will offered from 4:30 p.m.  to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. People should call 2-1-1 to make an appointment and walk-ins are also welcome.
