1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a mostly cloudy day with gradually sunny skies and a high temperature of 50 degrees. On Wednesday night, there will be increasing clouds with a low around 29 degrees.
2. HDC meeting: The city's Historic District Commission will meet on Wednesday at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. The agenda can be viewed on the city's website.
3. Daniel Street construction: City Public Works crews will continue a four-week project on Daniel Street to replace gas mains. Motorists should seek other routes to access Market Square.

4. Bruins legend at The Page: Cam Neely, the current Boston Bruins vice president and an NHL Hall of Famer who played most of his career for the B's, will be at The Page to meet fans and sign autographs on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
5. AARP to offer free tax assistance: The AARP will offer Portsmouth area residents free 2012 income tax return preparation assistance at the Portsmouth Public Library through Sunday, April 14. The service will offered from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. People should call 2-1-1 to make an appointment and walk-ins are also welcome.
