1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day with a high temperature near 38 degrees. On Friday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low temperature of 27 degrees.

2. Economic Development Commission meeting: The city's Economic Development Commission is scheduled to meet at City Hall at 7:30 a.m. The agenda can be viewed on the city's website.

3. Summer camp expo: "Parenting New Hampshire" magazine will be hosting a Summer Camp and Program Expo on Saturday at Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

4. Share lucky charm photos: In honor of St. Patrick's Day this Sunday, Portsmouth Patch wants you to share photos of your lucky charms.

5. AARP to offer free tax assistance: The AARP will offer Portsmouth area residents free 2012 income tax return preparation assistance at the Portsmouth Public Library through Sunday, April 14. The service will offered from 4:30 p.m.  to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. People should call 2-1-1 to make an appointment and walk-ins are also welcome.
