U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, to welcome troops home at Pease; School Board meeting tonight; partly sunny day in the forecast.

1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for a mostly sunny day, with a high near 46 degrees. On Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear with a low around 30 degrees.

2. Ayotte to welcome troops home: U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, will join the Pease Greeters on Tuesday at 11 a.m. to welcome home more than 700 soldiers who are returning from an overseas deployment at Portsmouth International Airport.

3. School Board meeting: The Portsmouth School Board will also be meeting on Tuesday at City Hall at 7 p.m. The agenda can be viewed on the city's website.

4. Daniel Street project continues: City Public Works crews will continue a four-week project to replace gas mains on Daniel Street. Motorists should seek alternate routes to access Market Square.
