1. Today's weather: The National Weather Service is calling for Showers. High near 65. East wind around 6 mph. On Thursday night, there be some showers likely, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.
2. Presidential debate coverage: Be sure to follow our extensive coverage of Wednesday night's first Presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney.
3. "Illuminate New Memorial Bridge": A group of Portsmouth and Kittery, Maine residents hope to raise $80,000 by Oct. 30 to provide the New Hampshire Department of Transportation with the funds needed to illuminate the new Memorial Bridge at night with energy efficient LED lights.

4. Visit the Pumpkin Patch: Throughout the month of October, the First United Methodist Church on Miller Avenue is selling pumpkins large and small along with home baked goods. The hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
