Former Portsmouth Restaurateur Pleads Guilty to Credit Card Theft
WMUR reports that Brian Pearson, owner of the former Bella Sol restaurant, could face up to 20 years in federal prison.

A former Portsmouth restaurant owner pleaded guilty to stealing more than $200,000 from customers' credit cards in U.S. District Court in Concord, according to WMUR.
WMUR reported Friday morning that Brian Pearson, former owner of the former Bella Sol restaurant on Market Street, admitted that he stole credit card information from 250 customers and made 1,500 unauthorized charges that totalled more than $200,000. The television news station reported that Pearson is scheduled to be sentenced in July and could get as much as 20 years.
Portsmouth Police arrested Pearson in October 2011 following an investigation into complaints made by customers that they were seeing unauthorized charges on the credit card accounts after dining at Pearson's former restaurant.
