Harry Potter, Live Music on Tap This Weekend
"Potted Potter" show at Music Hall Friday; Children's Day happening this Sunday: Tan Vampires to rock Press Room Saturday night.
As most city residents know, there is never a shortage of fun things to do or places to go in Portsmouth. Each Friday, we will offer five suggestions for people who are planning out their weekends.
1. Children's Day Sunday: Pro Portsmouth's annual Children's Day will be held on Sunday, May 5 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. through downtown Portsmouth.
2. "Potted Potter" at Music Hall: The two-man show parody, "Potted Potter," that condenses seven Harry Potter books by author J.K. Rowling in 70 minutes, will be performed at the Music Hall on Friday at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickers are $34 and $45.

3. Superska at Thirsty Moose: Superska and Dion Knibb will perform their rock and reggae music at the Thirsty Moose Taphouse on Friday from 8 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
4. Tan Vampires at Press Room: The group Tan Vampires will bring their sound to the Press Room on Saturday night. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $6.

5. Fall in "Love": The Player's Ring will have the play, "Love," on Friday at 8 p.m. This collection of monologues, music, plays and visual arts celebrate the greatest of all human emotions.
