Hillary Clinton And Bernie Sanders To Appear At NH Event Together: Endorsement Coming?

The Clinton campaign confirmed that the Democratic primary rivals will appear on the stage together Tuesday.

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will appear together at a New Hampshire high school Tuesday, officials confirmed, fueling speculation that a Sanders endorsement of the presumptive Democratic nominee is imminent.

In a statement that sounded positively Sanders-esque, Clinton said the two will "discuss their commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top."

Sanders has remained in the presidential primary race, despite Clinton having clinched the necessary delegates to secure the nomination. But he has withheld a formal endorsement of Clinton, saying she needs to show a commitment to progressive values.

Over the weekend, the Democratic Party adopted several Sanders-approved policies for its official platform, including a $15 minimum wage, expansion of social security and tuition-free college.

Sanders lauded the new changes, calling them part of "the most progressive platform in the history of the Democratic Party.”
