The <a href="http://portsmouthhistory.org/about-john-paul-jones/john-paul-jones-house/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">John Paul Jones House</a> opens today, May 1, for the 2014 season. The historic house and museum to Colonial America's first sea warrior is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Portsmouth Historical Society has announced the 2014 exhibition for the John Paul Jones House: <a href="http://portsmouthhistory.org/category/john-paul-jones-events/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mapping the Piscataqua Region: John Smith to Google Maps</a>. An opening reception will be held at the John Paul Jones House on May 9, from 5 p.m. to  7 p.m. The exhibition goes to Nov. 3.
