Living Nativity to be Performed Saturday

Middle Street Baptist Church will do three shows to tell the story of the birth of Jesus.

Families who would like to teach their children about the true meaning of Christmas will have a unique and fun opportunity this Saturday when the Middle Street Baptist Church will do its living Nativity.

According to church officials, "The Majesty of the Christmas Manger," will offer live animals and people who will portray the Holy Family as well as the shepherds and the Three Wise Men.

The shows are scheduled to take place at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and church officials said they will offer free hot chocolate and refreshments inside the church function hall. There will also be Christmas carols and the event is free.
