Noise complaints and theft reports were among items reported in the Portsmouth police logs for April 20 overnight into April 21.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The following incidents have been reported in the Portsmouth police logs for the time period of April 20 overnight into April 21. Arrests do not indicate guilt. The names of any minors have been omitted.

Saturday, April 20:

7:35 a.m. — Police get a call about a woman with a suitcase, but she is fine.

8:24 a.m. — Police check on a backpack near the middle school.

9:09 a.m. — A man asking people for money is given a warning for disorderly conduct.

9:33 a.m. — A woman reports a large dog that was jumping on her while she was running on New Castle Avenue.

10:01 a.m. — Three teenagers reportedly climb out of an attic window carrying a large container.

11:56 a.m. — After potential theft of tools is reported, Richard Barbour, 45, of Rochester, is arrested on a warrant.

12:14 p.m. — A vehicle accident involving property damage is reported in the area of Peverly Hill and Lafayette roads.

2:06 p.m. — Ronald L. Dalrymple, 60, of Portsmouth, is charged with violating a protective order.

2:45 p.m. — A two-vehicle accident is reported in a Lafayette Road parking lot. No injuries.

3:23 p.m. — A prisoner is transported to jail.

5:48 p.m. — Someone calls 911 regarding a skunk in a neighbor's yard.

6 p.m. — Someone calls police to check on a family member's safety.

6:01 p.m. — Theft is reported, but it was a misunderstanding.

6:28 p.m. — A couple is reported fighting in a vehicle.

8:53 p.m. — Heidi A. West, 43, of Portsmouth, is arrested on a bench warrant.

10:15 p.m. — Police address a noise complaint at a child's birthday party.

11:44 p.m. — Someone calls police about five men jumping a fence.

Sunday, April 21:

12:23 a.m. — Another noise complaint is reported from a child's birthday party.

12:56 a.m. — A separate loud party is reported.

2:02 a.m. — Another neighbor reports loud music.
