Man, 63, Charged with Trespassing at Portsmouth High

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Wednesday:

  • At 8:06 a.m., police reported a homeless man was soliciting for food with a sign on the Portsmouth Traffic Circle.
  • At 8:14 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in to police. Zuriel Hamidjojo, 23, of 27 Osprey Drive was wanted for default or breach of bail conditions.
  • At 8:39 a.m., police reported a theft on Lincoln Street.
  • At 10:07 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man at Portsmouth High School after he was observed talking to a female student. Daniel Sabine, 63, address unknown, was charged with criminal trespass.
  • At 10:18 a.m., police reported a two-car crash on Corporate Drive and International Drive.
  • At 1:43 p.m., police reported a car accident on Islington and Cabot streets after the driver crashed into a traffic light pole.
  • At 2:02 p.m., police arrested a Newmarket woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Elena T. Sanders, 23, of 6 Bay Road, Apt. 1, was wanted for sale of controlled narcotic drugs.
  • At 3:22 p.m., police arrested a South Portland, Maine man on Woodbury Avenue who was seen drinking alcohol in public and stumbling as he pushed a shopping cart with a child inside. James Brady, 35, of 2 Anchorage Place was charged with endangering the welfare of a child/incompetent and taking into protective custody for alcoholism.
  • At 4:07 p.m., police reported criminal threatening on Wedgewood Road after the caller said her mother's ex-fiance called and threatened to "beat the family."
  • At 6:16 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman on Wedgewood Road who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Tami Marie Springer, 37, of 22 Wedgewood Road was wanted for theft; all other.
  • At 10:53 p.m., police took a report of a rape - forcible sex assault that the victim said happened the previous night on Congress Street.
