Maloney to be Remembered Tonight in Greenland

1. Today's weather: There will be rain, sleet and freezing rain throughout most of the day today with a high temperature near 37 degrees. On Friday night, there will be more rain and some sleet with a low temperature around 33 degrees.

Maloney to be remembered tonight: Greenland residents and many other Portsmouth area residents are expected to attend a moment of silence in front of the Greenland Police Station on Friday at 5 p.m. to honor the memory of Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney, who died in the line of duty on April 12, 2012.

5. Sarah Mildred Long Bridge closed: According to New Hampshire Department of Transportation officials, the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge will remain closed for another three weeks after it sustained structural damage from a tanker that crashed into it.
