Man Charged with Posing as Firefighter During Downtown Blaze
Dean Ellis, 29, is facing disorderly conduct and gun possession charges.
A Rochester man is facing disorderly conduct and gun possession charges after allegedly posing as a firefighter during a blaze in downtown Portsmouth last summer.
WMUR-TV reports that Dean Ellis, 29, caused a distraction by pretending to be a firefighter and calling for a second alarm while standing on top of 38 Daniel St. during the fire in June of 2013. He was also carrying a gun without a permit.
