People came from far and wide to attend and celebrate Market Square Day on June 14 as Pro Portsmouth saw spectacular weather for its annual crowd-pleaser. <a href="http://www.proportsmouth.org/MarketSquareDay.cfm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pro Portsmouth</a> estimates between 60,000 and 80,000 people walk through downtown Portsmouth during Market Square Day for food, entertainment and shopping. More than 100 vendors and local businesses line the streets in the eye of downtown, which is closed to vehicular traffic for the daytime. Market Square Day is the second Saturday in June. For those proactive community members, businesses and revelers, the MSD 2015 is June 13.
