Marriott Murder Suspect's Girlfriend to Plead Guilty

Kathryn McDonough of Portsmouth is scheduled to be sentenced for her role in the Elizabeth Marriott murder case on July 25.

A Portsmouth woman who police say lied to them during the investigation into the murder of Elizabeth Marriott last year is expected to plead guilty, according to the Union Leader.
Kathryn McDonough, 19, of Portsmouth is scheduled to be sentenced on July 25 in Rockingham County Superior Court as part of a negotiated plea bargain, according to the Union Leader.
According to court documents, investigators say that McDonough conspired with Seth Mazzaglia, 30, of Dover to cover up Marriott's murder that took place in Mazzaglia's Dover apartment on Oct. 9, 2012 before police say the couple dumped Marriott's body into the Piscataqua River on Peirce Island in Portsmouth. Mazzaglia is currently being held without bail at the Strafford County Jail in Dover on second degree murder and is scheduled to go to trial in March 2013.
Marriott is a 2012 graduate of Portsmouth High School
