Martha Fuller Clark Launches Re-election Campaign
The state candidate filing period is open until 5 p.m. June 13.
State Sen. Martha Fuller Clark, a Portsmouth Democrat representing District 21, will launch her re-election campaign June 12 with stops in Portsmouth, Newmarket and Durham.
Clark is scheduled to kick it off at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth at 10:30 a.m. She is then to visit Newmarket Park at noon, followed by the Durham train station at 1:30 p.m.
Clark previously served in the state Senate from 2004 to 2010, and was last re-elected in 2012.

The state filing period is open until June 13 at 5 p.m. Peter Macdonald of Lee has already filed to run for the Democratic Party nomination.
Phil Nazzaro, a Republican from Newmarket, is running for the GOP nomination, as is Dennis Lamare of Lee.

District 21 represents Durham, Lee, Madbury, Newfields, Newington, Newmarket, and Portsmouth in the New Hampshire State Senate.
