Memorial Bridge Closed Overnight This Week

The closure is needed to make guiderail adjustments.

Submitted by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation:

Archer Western Contractors will be closing the Memorial Bridge to all traffic (vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian) from midnight to 5 a.m. five nights next week, starting Sunday night at midnight (Feb. 17) through Friday (Feb. 20) morning at 5 a.m.

From 7 p.m. to midnight on those nights, traffic will be restricted to one alternating lane in each direction. The rest of the time, the bridge will be open in both lanes to all modes of traffic.

The closure is needed to make guiderail adjustments. The work was expected to be completed last week but was slowed due to all the snow. The bridge is an active work zone during this time so no entry will be allowed.
