Motorcyclist Killed On Connector Near Spaulding Turnpike

ROCHESTER, NH — A motorcyclist was killed after being ejected from his bike in Rochester on Sunday.

Around 4:30 p.m., New Hampshire State Police were sent to the area of the Route 202 connector with the Spaulding Turnpike for a report of a motorcycle accident. Rochester police and fire and rescue teams also arrived to assist on the westbound side of the road near Exit 16.

An investigation revealed that Robert J. Dow, 49, of Rochester lost control of his 2016 Harley-Davidson after striking a raised curb median on the road.

“As a result of the crash, Dow was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries,” said Lt. Keith Walker of Troop A.
