Restaurateur in Running for Best New Chef
Matt Louis, chef and owner of Moxy, is listed among New England's top chefs in Food & Wine magazine poll to choose the country's best new chef.

The chef and owner of a downtown Portsmouth restaurant is in the running for Food & Wine magazine's 2013 Best New Chef award.
According to Food & Wine's website, Matt Louis, owner and chef at Moxy on Penhallow Street, is listed as one of the best 10 new chefs in New England as part of the magazine's nationwide competition. Under Louis' bio, the magazine's editors say he is amazing because "he makes incredible Spanish-style tapas using seasonal New England ingredients." Moxy opened in May 2012.
