Music Hall's Film Matters Takes on Hunger
The documentary, "A Place at the Table," will be screened on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Hunger, an issue that affects 49 million people in the U.S. everyday, will take center stage on Tuesday night at the Music Hall.
The Music Hall's Film Matters series will screen the documentary, "A Place at the Table," in conjunction with Share Our Strength, Seacoast Eat Local and End 68 Hours of Hunger.
According to a press release issued by the Music Hall, the documentary will show how "49 million people in the U.S. - one in four children - don’t know where their next meal is coming from, despite our having the means to provide nutritious, affordable food for all Americans."

Following the screening of the film, a panel of four local food sustainability experts will lead a discussion and Q&A session. Share our Strength founder Bill Shore will introduce the evening.
"We are very much looking forward to the chance to bring this important film to the Seacoast as well as shining lights on some terrific solution-resource groups here in our community,” says Chris Curtis, programming coordinator at The Music Hall, in a prepared statement. “Please count yourself in for the film and for the discussion afterwards!"
