New ALDI Grocery Store To Open In Dover

DOVER, NH — A new ALDI grocery store is set to open in Dover next week. The ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, at 8:30 a.m. at 828 Central Ave. The event will feature a Golden Ticket gift cards for the first 100 customers, product samples, and Produce for a Year sweepstakes.

ALDI's opening in Dover is part of the grocery store's $3.4 billion investment to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022, according to a statement from ALDI.

"ALDI stores are designed to make life easier for people," said Bruce Persohn, the South Windsor division vice president for ALDI. "We offer high-quality foods at affordable prices and streamlined shopping experience unlike anything else. From our award-winning products, to trendy, fresh and healthy options, we're focused on carrying a selection that has something for everyone."

The new Dover store will have a store layout that features expanded refrigeration space to accommodate more fresh, healthy and convenient products. The store will also have open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials, according to a statement from ALDI. The Dover store will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
