New Memorial Bridge Makes Quick Progress

As work continues at the New Hampshire Pier on the middle lift span, Archer Western Contractors crews made a great deal of progress on the south span's lift tower and the bridge operator's house this month.

Since the south span was successfully floated in on Jan. 15 and the north span followed  on March 6, crews have really picked up the pace to build the two lift span towers for both spans as they continue to construct the middle span, which is scheduled to be floated in sometime in June. The Memorial Bridge's target completion date is July 6.
