NH Bloodhound Captures Maine Fugitive

Daisy Mae saves the day for law enforcement in Maine, sniffing out a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting.

A New Hampshire bloodhound by the name of Daisy Mae quickly tracked down a fugitive in Maine who was wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of his girlfriend.

Maine State Police said Daisy Mae, a dog from the Strafford County Sheriff's Office in New Hampshire, led officers to Jesse Marquis at the base of a tree about three miles into the woods of St. Francis, Maine, on June 6.

The dog, with Deputy Keith MacKenzie, picked up the scene only 90 minutes before helping police capture the fugitive.
