New Hampshire, Maine State Police Team Up For I-95 Seacoast Enforcement
Troopers from both states stopped nearly 300 drives while issuing 180 citations and arresting two on Wednesday.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — State police in two states stopped hundreds of vehicles this week in an effort to enforce traffic laws in both New Hampshire and Maine.
Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, New Hampshire and Maine state police increased their highway presence to “eliminate dangerous driving behaviors,” Amber Lagace, the public information officer for NHSP.
“Although this effort is made on a daily basis, the addition of several extra troopers to the Interstate was designed to saturate the roadway and provide enhanced visibility within each respective state,” she said.
