NH Man Guilty In Vicious Revenge Beating Of Teen

A New Hampshire jury convicted Jordan Lamonde, of Portsmouth, of sucker-punching an 18-year-old woman as revenge for a stolen safe.

DOVER, NH — A New Hampshire man on Thursday was found guilty of viciously attacking an 18-year-old woman outside a Rochester Planet Fitness gym last year as revenge for a stolen safe. Jordan Lamonde, 23, of Portsmouth, was convicted of multiple assault charges by a Strafford County Superior Court jury in Dover, according to SeacoastOnline.

Prosecutors said Lamonde stalked the woman the night of June 12, 2017. He waited for her to leave the gym and as she was about to open her car door, he walked up behind her and sucker-punched her, prosecutors said. He then struck the woman multiple times. A security camera captured footage of the attack and police distributed a video to the public to help identify Lamonde.
